OH, MY! I has been tooooo long since our last spaghetti Thursday! The summer was just busy. Then in the fall Amy had soccer practice every Thursday afternoon. Although we did have spaghetti between May and December, it wasn't always on a Thursday, and if it was it was just us!

We had a great time visiting and afterwards we went to the decorated dancing lights house in Pin Oak. Since it was after Christmas the wait time was very short! The kids always love seeing this house.

Attendance: William, Laurie, Mary, Amy, Paige, The fourth grade team: Megan, The Smiths: Ronnie, Cathy, Jackson, and Braedan, The Raus: Tim, Tanncy, and Cory, The Mayzers: Krista and husband, twin daughters, Matthew, and new to fourth grade Natalia.
Menu: Pasta Pie, rigatoni with traditional meat sauce, salad, garlic bread, dipping bread, mozzerella cheese bites, fresh fruit cheesecake, and peanut butter rice krispie chocolate sandwiches. And to drink we had: beer, margaritas, strawberry or regular, skinny girl sangria, cabernet souvenougn, and tea.
This was the largest crowd for spaghetti Thursday yet! We had a blast visting and laughing. I have really enjoyed working with my team this year and will miss them next year. I will be a lot different going from a team of 11 to only 5!

Menu: Spaghetti noodles with meat sauce, salad, garlic bread, mozerella bites, seasoned goldfish, fried zuccini, tea, beer, wine, and scotch on the rocks.
It was a great night! Here is Amy's summary of the night...
"My first spaghetti Thursday. Evening highlights: father/daughter slap fight, nerf gun battle, Amy H's blue cocktail dress, alpo taco's, good food, better company. Thanks for letting me participate."
We started the evening off with Mary getting her birthday presents from Uncle Darrell, Dixie and Jackson. There has been a joke for quite some time that Darrell was going to give her some dog food tacos. AND HE REALLY DID!

Menu: Pasta pie, fresh and fried zuccini and squash, garlic bread, red wine, and tea.
This was a new recipe recommended from a friend that she made after seeing it on pintrest. It was absolutely delicious!! This will be on the rotation!
After dinner Paige treated us to some sonic treats. William-large chocolate malt shake, Paige-large chocolate shake, Mary-strawberry sundae, Laurie-blended root beer float (but they forgot to blend it), Amy-vanilla cone.
We were stuffed!!!

Spaghetti Thursday #15
Attendance: William, Laurie, Mary, Amy, The Carleys: Tommy, Jill, Jackson, and Kathryn, Aunt Cynthia, Pamela and Luke. And Princess had a friend come, too, Samantha.
Menu: Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, salad, sautéed spinach, dipping bread and caprese salad. To drink we had ice tea, bud light, frozen peach margaritas and frozen regular margaritas. For snacking I made cake batter muddy buddies. And for dessert I made baked s'mores. I found both of these recipes on Pinterest. The both are VERY DELICIOUS!
We had a great time watching Luke crawl and laugh! He is such a ham! It was a full house tonight, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We are lucky to be near family.

Menu: chicken in sauce* with penne pasta and garlic bread.

*Shawna shared a new recipe and it was a hit. Cut boneless skinless chicken breast into bite size pieces. Marinate in italian dressing. Sauté. Once cooked put in alfredo sauce and marinara sauce. Simmer until ready to eat.

Menu: dipping bread, Mini Farfalle (aka bowtie or aka to Mary as frog feet), sausage and pepperoni sauce, salad, garlic bread, sauted squash and zuccini, vanilla french twists and two bite brownies, margaritas, and beer. Tea was available, but untouched. Adrienne also brought a wonderful cold salad, but we forgot about it in the fridge! So William got a serving of it before they left for lunch tomorrow.
Afterwards we all went swimming at our neighborhood pool. The kids had a blast!
